We Are “Christ Lutheran Church”
We Believe: That the entire Bible is the Word of God. Therefore, it is without error, contradiction, or myth.
• That God the Father sent His eternal, only-begotten Son, born of a virgin, to suffer and die for our sins, and rise again for our eternal salvation. He (Jesus) will return to judge the living and the dead.
• That Jesus Christ has forgiven all people, everywhere, their sins; and that this forgiveness becomes ours, personally, through faith in Him.
• That saving faith is worked in the believer’s heart solely by the action of the Holy Spirit. He works faith by the power of the Gospel – bringing Christ’s salvation promise to us through Holy Scripture, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.
• That all true believers make up the body of Christ – His true Church; and spiritual oneness is manifested by doctrinal unity in His truth.
