Christ Lutheran Church was organized in 1986 after a group of members left a local Lutheran Church with concerns for faithfulness to God’s word. The congregation joined the ELS in 1987. In 1991, the building in which the congregation had rented, a worship space was purchased, and congregation members undertook an extensive remodeling of the facilities. The building was dedicated in May 1994, complete with a beautiful new sanctuary, fellowship hall, kitchen, and classrooms.
